For teams: Does your AI need the cloud?
Run It Local
Sponsor

Partners in local AI are welcome here.

Run It Local readers are people learning to run AI on hardware they control: the curious, hobbyists, families, and professionals, plus People, HR, and Ops leads and founders bringing it to their teams. If you make the hardware, models, or tools that make that possible, we’d be glad to hear from you.

Who we’d welcome

  • Hardware. Workstations, desktop AI systems, GPUs, and the resellers who set them up. A company like NVIDIA is the kind of partner we mean. NVIDIA is named only as an example. It is not a sponsor and has no relationship with us.
  • Models. Teams publishing open-weight or locally deployable models.
  • Tools. Software for running, serving, searching, and securing AI on a company’s own machines, plus HR and Ops tools that work alongside it.

What’s available

Newsletter

One Sponsor slot per weekly issue

Kept simple: your logo, one line, and a link, clearly labeled “Sponsor,” placed after the main protocol. One sponsor per issue, so you aren’t sharing the space.

Here’s how the slot looks (issue #1 shows it open):

The readiness check stays neutral

Sponsors are kept out of the readiness check entirely. No sponsor appears in the check, and none has any say in its questions, its scoring, or the plan it gives. That way a reader’s result reflects their company, not our partners.

Rules we keep

  • Every sponsor placement is labeled “Sponsor” and kept separate from everything we pick ourselves.
  • Sponsorship never changes our hardware recommendations. No one can buy a place on a recommended list or in our tracked deals. Sponsored items are always labeled and kept apart.
  • Sponsors don’t choose, review, or edit protocols, and sponsoring doesn’t change a protocol’s steps, time, or difficulty.
  • Protocols name products only where they help the reader, with alternatives. If a sponsor’s product appears in a protocol, we disclose the relationship there.
  • We share real subscriber numbers once we have them. We won’t round up.
  • We can say no to a sponsor that doesn’t fit our readers.
